This series of paintings is inspired by monoprints I make in fields from spent flower blossoms. I collect and arrange blossoms on my picture plane, and using the weight of my big, beautiful body - I dance to press them. While the prints are ephemeral, in these paintings I capture some of their grace and dynamism.
