Inspired by delicate patterns found in nature, I am captivated by the chemical transformations that emerge as I work with spent flower blossoms, once their conventional beauty has faded. After harvesting from fields, I use the weight of my body to press the flowers onto my work surface, in a kind of dance. This tactile process – a fusion of nature and physicality – creates chromatographic monoprints that capture the fragility and exquisite beauty of senescence, the natural aging process. These prints are digitally preserved and now transformed into functional artware.
